My oil light just came on today. i have an '07 trailblazer?

i'm planning to go tomorrow afternoon to get it changed, but i want to know how long i can drive my car with the light on and not damage anything

if you dont check the oil ... when the light come on ... then you have drove to far now.... if you drive it more without checking the oil think thousands of bucks....five minutes to open the hood and pull the dip stick out and look.... check your oil and the other fluids before you drive it any more.... anytime you have a light on you stop at the next place and check it then not in a few miles not next day but then you have a few minutes.... if your Lucky you have not destroyed your motor
The mil light is telling your that the oil pressure is low,try pouring oil in and keep watch for any changes,if that doesnt work i recommend getting professional help,dont risk of locking up the motor, i been there.
I wouldn't drive it one minute with the oil light on. It comes on because you have very low oil or no oil pressure. Check the oil, top it off, and go get it changed asap.
Ok if it is on do not drive the car.... it is an 07 it should be under warranty. Call the dealer. Recommend not to drive!!!!!!
It probably is just telling you to change the oil...like tomorrow!
Um, check your dipstick. (that is if you even know what a dipstick is lol)
I used to work for oil change. it will be ok just don't wait too long to change oil
this is crazy !!! please dump it and buy a Japanese car.
