Only if methane replaces petroleum.
Petroleum was formed by microrganisms known as diatoms which have a tiny droplet of oil in thier shell to help keep them afloat. Heat and pressure over geological time frames has converted the fatty oil into petroleum.
Methane would be a fantastic replacement for much of our petroleum uses though.Would the burial sites of today become the oil wells of the future?
Oh, I forgot to add that even if they don't turn to methane, you could always put the zombies on a treadmill and generate electricity with them. Report Abuse
Would the burial sites of today become the oil wells of the future?
good idea, but it takes waaayyyy too long. personally, i dont think the earth as we know it will be around long enough, so. dont invest.
The notion that oil was produced by the decomposition of the dead bodies of dinosaurs is a fallacy.
The old idea that oil came from the bonbes of dead dinosaurs has been largely discredited by modern science.
It now looks as if the earth is continually creating oil by purely natural processes that are totally unrelated to the death of any plant or animal.
You might do better buying landfills, in the hope that someone will someday invent a way to cheaply reclaim all the resources that have been deposited there.
Maybe. Keep in mind it takes a good few million years. Hope you're not putting all your eggs in one basket ;-)
only if your a grease ball
it may be to God all things are possible
Yeah sure...but don't hold your breath whilst waiting for a return on your capital.
