So oil hit $140 per barrel today. Are you changing your habits or not?

At what point will it make a BIG difference to you personally?

If I would have asked you this question when oil was $1 per gallon, you may have said that you would change your habits when it was 3 or 4 times that, but now that it is about $4 per gallon, at what point do you really change yourself and the culture? So oil hit $140 per barrel today. Are you changing your habits or not?
I've been working on my hypermiling techniques.

But, even though it will add significant time to my commute, I am considering switching to using subway 100%.So oil hit $140 per barrel today. Are you changing your habits or not?
140.00 a barrel. The american people had better wake up.We need to drill our own oil.The liberals and enviromental wackos will not let us drill in our own country therefore we will continue to pay these prices. If we elect a democrat into the oval office taxes will also go up to pay for there new programs.we the people must speak out now and let our conservative government drill for oil in alaska, florida,or where ever they can so we can stop being dependent on other countries.
Since the oil price is rising unstoppable, I drive less AND yes, I changed the habit of my driving. Going over the speed limit is really getting more money from your pump to waste. I only go out now when it is necessary. When possible, I take the metro bus to travel places for less(It will save you a LOT of money).
I dont think our country hasnt felt the real impact of this yet. My family started making adjustment last month. Less trips from the house to town. Cutting back on entertaiment and stocking up on essentials. The job market is going to feel the crunch in the next 120 days. And the scary thing about it is our government has not taken any steps to address whats going to happen.
I have changed. I only use my car for night driving, or driving on the highway. Otherwise, I use the family's moped or my bike. Or I walk. I'm all in favor of alternative modes of transportation.
My habits don't revolve around the cost of oil or gas. I live 5 miles from anywhere so I need the gas wherever I go.
I would probably take less trips driving and just stay home and read.
no, i won't change ever, probably. I have places to go and people to see.
I don't have any bad habits. So the answer is no.
