How can anyone today still possibly believe that bush's war was about anything other than stealing Iraq's oil?

Five years on, how is it not obvious to them that bush's war was about oil all along? Are the republicans still going to keep using the ';Al Qaeda excuse'; so that they can stay in Iraq for however long it takes to pump their oil out?

Iraq is NOT ';Bush's war'; since congress agreed to it. How can it be a war about oil when we haven't gotten any benefit?

nice rant dude - try some facts next timeHow can anyone today still possibly believe that bush's war was about anything other than stealing Iraq's oil?
Because it simply doesn't make economic sense. It would have been FAR cheaper to simply drop sanctions against Iraq and buy the oil from them.

To argue that we benefit in any way from being in direct control of Iraqi oil (which we don't, the Iraqi government does) is insane and above all-- inaccurate.
';Iraq fails to ink deals with global oil majors';

Sounds to me like the more recent news indicates that Iraq is in control of their oil.

By the way, it's not ';Bush's War'; it's our war.
i wish they would hurry up and send some it back to the states.I'm sure that there were plenty of excuses for getting involved in Iraq.I'm also quite sure that the big $$$ were behind them all. That's nothing new though.The pressure is now being applied to let U.S. oil companies start drilling for oil in the Florida straits. You have probably already heard the spin doctors getting tuned up.
The strange and eerie irony is that Mainstream America has been subject to this debacle and the outrage is only a conversational murmur.

Lies and deception sound like ';Treason';. Special interests benefiting from contrived conflict sounds like ';Corruption';.

There are no ';Weapons Of Mass Destruction';.

Don't we normally prosecute these crimes?
Nobody ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public. All politicians lie; the only thing that changes is the accent. It's like traffic noise in a big city, after a while, you just don't hear it; it's just noise.
I don't believe that. But since you do, is a war for Oil so bad? Why, since you believe Iraq was a war for Oil, is it so bad?
Yes.

FREE OIL FOR AMERICA.

That's why Gas is sooooooo Cheap.

(Good thinking, little Democrat Boy.)

Cool!!!!

I hope that you have to get a Job, one of these days.
It is even worse than that. Before Bush was elected, he said ,in an interview, that he wanted to be a ';war time president';.
They can't. They just don't want to admit it.
If this was about oil, where is it? Nice rant though.
You dolt.

If it was for oil, we wouldnt' be having these conversations about drilling in ANWR and off the FL coast.
Stealing is a harsh word. I prefer coercive production sharing agreements.
Those WMDs could still turn up, anytime now.
So, if the oil is stolen, why isn't 'w'; sharing his ill gotten gains instead of charging us over $4.00 per?
If this was about oil, we would have been done a long time ago buddy.

sorry but thanks for playing
OK Then wheres this iraqi oil then, cause its certainly not coming our way...
HEY....You forgot my ';legacy';
