Got my new clutch yesterday, Got oil leak today!!?

I have a ford focus 02, got new clutch in yesterday from a good garage which i always use. Today i have oil leak, When checking the oil there isn't a drop left in. I phoned garage straight away and they've told me to bring it down in the morning. The bloke didn't seems surprised by it, as if it was something that happens.





I will however fill the oil up again in the morning before i drive it down which is only 5 minutes away.





Any ideas whats happened? just so i have a bit knowledge before i go in cos don't want to be fobbed off if they've done some serious damage.Got my new clutch yesterday, Got oil leak today!!?
did u get your oil changed too? maybe they forgot to put oil in there in the first place?? when they changed the oil filter coulda been a double gasket??





And on the technicians side of life, it is not the end of the world for us. No matter how much we try, we do make mistakes from time to time, so it probably was no big surprise to him. A lot of technicians get paid by the job, not by the hour (flat rate or commission) and warranty work never pays, so it may have been a moreso politically correct attitude in the midst of an underlying bad attitude, which is normal, cause your not making money redoing work.





About getting shafter, here's two things.... i would definitely get the oil problem fixed right away, then when you have time within the next 48 hours, take it to another shop and explain to them what happened, and then make sure they send off a test for oil analysis.
