If the dipstick is not broken, maybe they didn't put enough oil in the engine. If the oil doesn't touch the crosshatched area on the dipstick, then the dipsticks at the service center didn't add enough. If the dipstick is broken, get a new one ASAP, so you can find out how full your engine is. Don't take chances! A new dipstick or an oil change is cheap, a new engine isn't.
You have the wrong dipstick.
Go to autozone and they should have it for cheap.
