blow it up dudeIm turboing my civic i got the oil supply line today. its 3/16 diameter. will it give enough oil to the turbo?
That size will work provided that your engine's oil pump is working well. Your Civic? year, miles on the motor? Might blow up! Hope that the money for turbo was not all that you have because the turbo also need a oil drain into the oil pan. Larger injectors and better exhaust. Turbo timer and boost control how about fuel mixture control and exhaust gas tempature Gauge? Making a 2.2 liter engine larger by putting over 14 pounds of boost to it requires lot's more engineering. Than came with X brand E-bay intercooler turbo kit. You are intercooled right?
Yes, one of my turbo cars uses a -03 line (3/16) and it is fine. The other car uses a -04 (1/4) with a Function 7 restrictor/oil line adapter on the inlet. Both get plenty of oil - - you don't want to ';flood'; the bearing with oil.
