All of this information is available from the Department of Energy


and each is required to state where they get their oil and how much


they are importing.





But to have an impact, we need to reach literally millions of gas


buyers.

That e-mail you received is a hoax, and it is not accurate. The information you posted in your qestion is wrong. Forms of this e-mail have been circulating since at least 2005.

Most of us have been ';caught'; by an e-mail like this! This darn things are written to be appealing, sorry you got 'hooked'-but I truly appreciate your comments here! Report Abuse

Although it's true we get crude from Venezuala, Canada and Alaska (to name a few) -- you may not that regardless of the cost to the oil company, every station in a ity is within pennies of retail cost. In short, ALL companies are in essence in a pact to make excessive profits. Boycotting means nothing.
Did you know 80% of our oil comes from Canada - not the Middle East?
Did you notice your chart shows that all those companies use 0 barrels of non imported oil?





Which means they DO import all their oil.
Not sure what the questions is but I know we drill, and find oil here in the USA . There are several refineries that I know of that refine and distribute oil found here at home.My husband hauled it for several years and we own oil and gas leases .We keep up witih the skinny on this stuff.I believe your information is wrong.
This is 00% correct...I do not buy any gas unless it is on that list.

I am sorry but I think you got the wrong info. But I know we should cut down on our use of oil
I don't understand your question or your point. We need to adequately exploit our own oil resources and develop alternate energy, so we don't need to import oil from anywhere...Middle East, Venezuela, or anywhere else.
